Patsy Dodds

Patsy C. Dodds, of Topeka passed away on May 27, 2024 in Kansas City. She was born December 28, 1940 in Emporia, Kansas the daughter of Leonard and Dorothy Riddle Hammond. Patsy attended Seaman High School in Topeka, graduating in the class of 1959. She was a clerk for the Santa Fe Railroad for over 30 years, prior to retiring in 2002. She was a member of the Santa Fe Women’s Club. She enjoyed dancing, playing cards and bowling. Patsy loved to travel and took her grandchildren on many trips throughout the years.

She is survived by her devoted family; brothers Paul and wife Beverly Hammond, Phillip and wife Connie Hammond; daughter, Rhonda Williams; grandchildren, Tricia Vannattan, Rachel Adair and Ashley Vogan; great grandchildren, Austin Vannattan and Carter Vogan and Jameson and Savannah LaBar.

Patsy was preceded in death by her son Douglas A. Dodds and her parents, Leonard and Dorothy.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday June 7th at Parker-Price & Davidson Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Rochester Cemetery. Following the graveside service a lunch-reception will be held at the Parker-Price & Davidson Reception Center from 1-3 pm.
