OBITUARY: Mrs. Patsy Ann "Pat" Hatfield
Mrs. Patsy Ann "Pat" Hatfield, 75, Topeka, died Sat., Jan. 20, 2007, her 56th Wedding Anniversary. She was born Dec. 10, 1931, at Osawatomie, the daughter of Wayne Jewel and Floretta Augusta (Holsker) Crowley.
Pat graduated from Topeka High School in 1949. She was a machine operator at Hallmark Cards for 24 years, retiring in April, 1994. She was an avid sports fan and loved the KU Jayhawks and the Chiefs. Pat was a friend to all and everybody loved her.
She was married to William Arthur Hatfield on Jan. 20, 1951, in Topeka. He survives of the home.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter: Pamela S. Koerth of Topeka; a son: Michael W. Hatfield of Colorado Springs, CO; a sister: Barbara Schreiber of Topeka; 5 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Fri., Jan. 26, 2007, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence. Interment at Mount Hope Cemetery. Pat will lie in state after 3:00 PM Thur. at the funeral chapel where the family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 PM.
