OBITUARY: Patrick Girard Cloud
Patrick Girard Cloud, 49, Perry, died Thurs. morning, Sept. 6, 2007, at Stortmont-Vail Hosp., Topeka. He was born Nov. 1, 1957, in Topeka, to parents, Bob D. and Betty A. Cloud. Pat rejoined his daughter, Misty, who preceded him in death on July 5, 2006.
Pat attended Perry-Lecompton High School before becoming a bricklayer with his father. He then worked at Valley Vista Locker and then as a meatcutter for Dillons. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed fishing in local and regional tournaments, but he loved most of all spending time with his friends and family.
Surviving Pat are his wife; Alenia; son and daughter-in-law: Patrick M. and Sara Cloud, Topeka; stepson and step-daughter-in-law: Dustin and Sonya Cottrell, Topeka; mother: Betty Cloud, Grantville; 2 grandchildren: Alexis and Coleman Dondlinger; 2 brothers: Robert (Charlayne) Cloud, Perry, David (Nadine) Cloud, Grantville; 6 sisters: Carole Williams, Omaha, NE, Michelle Bradbury, Topeka, Pam (Larry) Nichol, Perry, Chris (Steve) VanSickle, Topeka, Kathy (Robert) Henkensiefken, Berryton, and Deb (Dick) Cunningham, Topeka; and 17 nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM, Mon., Sept. 10, 2007, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence. Interment in Grantville Cemetery. Pat will lie in state after 1:00 PM, Sunday, at the funeral chapel, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
