OBITUARY: Patricia Ann Gore Thomas
Patricia Ann Gore Thomas, 74, Topeka, died Thurs., March 21, 2013. She was born Aug. 8, 1938, in Junction City. She was raised in the Holton community. Pat worked at Ray Beers Clothing for many years. She was a member of the Genealogy Society.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald B. Thomas; a daughter, Nancy; and a sister: Jean Armstrong.
Surviving are children: Linda Scott, Roberta Hughes, Connie Lykins, Toni Massey, John Gore, Scott Thomas, Sharon Kiernan, Janet Wuerflein, and Alicia Beavers; siblings: Odette Hugues, Mary Doty, Harold Patterson, Nancy Higgins, Roxanne Thomas, Gene Proctor, Jerry Figgins, Donald Figgins; and Larry Figgins; 18 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Monday, March 25, 2013, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave. Private interment of cremains will be in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery, 3616 SW Sixth Ave. Pat will lie in state from 3:00 to 8:00 PM Sun., at the funeral chapel where the family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 PM.
