Patricia Peterson

Patricia Ann Peterson 81, of Topeka passed away on January 12, 2024.  She was born on July 3, 1942 in Topeka the daughter of Melvin and Lula Belle Price Shafer.  She was married on December 12, 1959 at North Topeka Baptist Church to Karlen E. Peterson.   Patricia had taught aerobics as an instructor at the North YMCA.  Patricia enjoyed traveling, some of their trips included destinations like Australia and Alaska.  She was a good cook.  Patricia enjoyed Peterson Family reunions each summer.   She also raced cars.

Survivors include her husband Karlen E. Peterson of Topeka; sons, Bradley Peterson and wife Rhonda of Baldwin City, Kansas; Rodney Peterson of Topeka; four grandchildren, Lauren, Cameryn, Blaine and Danica.

Preceding her in death are her parents and her brother, Larry Shafer.
