The family of Patricia (Patty) Ann Zeller Lundin Vega, 79, celebrates her life after her passing on July 21, 2022. Patty was the daughter of Ed and Vera (Black) Zeller born in Topeka, Kansas on March 4, 1943. She married Frank (Jack) Lundin on April 16, 1968, who preceded her in death on May 3, 1998.
Patty attended Hayden High School in Topeka, Kansas. After graduating high school Patty pursued a variety of professions including Tupperware Sales Manager, janitor at Royal Valley High School, retail sales, and worked in a meat processing facility. Her most enjoyable profession was being a food server at Prairie Band Casino and Resort.
Patty's passion was being creative with her hands. She created hats, clothing, table cloths, coasters, and a variety of other crafts. Her true gifts could be seen in her award-winning gardens and quilts. She was very successful with growing irises and sold her unique varieties throughout the United States. The highlight of her quilting was her honor to create and donate quilts to the Ronald McDonald house for the children in their care. Everyone who received a quilt from Patty treasured it.
Patty was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Stephen and Gary; and her sister, Deborah Bjorling.
She is survived by her two sisters, Linda Gassiot and Sarah Swantner; step mother, Karen Zeller; two step sons, Jackie and Gary Lundin; four children, Kathy (Rod) Griffin, Vince Lundin, Richard (Peggy) Lundin, and Tammy (Eric Finck) Lundin; 14 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
A celebration of Patty's life will be Sunday, July 24, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Parker Price Reception Center located at 1940 NW Central Ave, Topeka, Kansas 66608.
