OBITUARY: Patricia L. Bennett Schwinn
Patricia Louise "Patty" Bennett Schwinn, 39, Topeka, passed away Tues., Feb. 26, 2008, in her home. She was born March 20, 1968, in Topeka, the daughter of Diann Marie (Desmond) and Leonard Alton Bennett, Sr.
Patty graduated from Seaman High School and attended Washburn University. She had worked at Harley-Davidson, Shawnee County Sheriff's Office Dispatch; Lowe's; and Sam's Club.
Patty was married to Fred Schwinn. They later divorced. She was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Leonard Bennett, Jr.
Surviving are her mother and step-father: Diann M. and Michael Marconett of Carbondale; 2 sisters: Patricia Moore of Topeka, and Lisa Markle of Fairfield, OH; a brother: Robert Bennett of Topeka; Ed Cooper and all their motorcycle friends.
Memorial services will be at 3:00 PM, Sat., March 1, 2008, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence, Topeka. Private interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30 PM, Friday, at the funeral chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Helping Hands Humane Society, 2625 NW Rochester Road, Topeka, KS 66617.
