Patricia Lucille Blocker, 60, Topeka, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2009.
Patty was born November 15, 1948 in Marysville, the daughter of Pat and Lucy (Brooks) Arlint. She graduated from Marysville High School in 1967.
She and her husband owned "Up to Date Old Times" in the White Lakes Mall since 1997.
She was active in PTA and other school functions while her children attended Indian Creek Elementary.
Patty married Ronald Gene Blocker on October 20, 1967 in Marysville. He survives. Other survivors include sons, Ronald G. Blocker, Jr., Michael T. Blocker, Christopher J.(Alba) Blocker, all of Topeka; grandchildren, Michael Blocker, Jr., Jaedon Blocker, Zaka Blocker and Rhys Blocker; sisters, Mary (Russ) Stryker and Lucy (Gary) West, all of Marysville. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Ann Arlint.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. in the Home Cemetery, Home, Kansas.
Patty will lie in state at the funeral home after 2:00 p.m. on Monday and visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
