Patricia Ann Hothan
Patricia Ann Hothan, 84, Ozawkie, died April 1, 2014, at her daughter's home. She was born April 20, 1929, in Topeka, the daughter of Kenneth Clifford and Ruth Venita (Johnson) Jones.
She graduated from Highland Park High School in 1947. She was a free-lance artist, working at S.B.L. and Mainline Printing. Her true passion was drawing, painting, and her grandchildren.
Pat was married to Ted Thomas Hothan on May 19, 1949, in Topeka. He preceded her in death on June 2, 2009.
Surviving are seven children: Linda Claramunt (Dwayne) of Colorado Springs, CO, Mark Hothan (Anne) of Ozawkie, KS, Nancy Jones (Jim) of Tecumseh, KS, Kevin Hothan (Liz) of Colorado Springs, CO, Matt Hothan (Halene) of Ozawkie, KS, David Hothan (Teresa) of Tecumseh, KS, and Eric Hothan (Jana) of Peyton, CO; two brothers: Robert Jones (Norma) of Topeka, KS and Dean Jones (Joy) of Lenexa, KS; 18 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 5, 2014, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Avenue, Topeka. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time.
