Pamela S. Dreasher

Pamela Sue Dreasher, 74, of Leroy, Kanas passed away on Friday, August 18, 2023.  She was born on June 16, 1949 in Topeka the daughter of Glenn A. Hawks, Sr. and Dorothy Hefner Hawks.   She attended Highland Park High School growing up.    She married Richard Lyda in May of 1966.  Together they had five children.  They later divorced.

She was married to Ben Dreasher on June 16, 1989 in Topeka.   She lived all over south of Topeka.   Pamela retired from Russell Stover’s at Iola.

She enjoyed going to stock car races, she was an excellent cook, avid Chiefs fan.  She was active and involved with her children,

and grandchildren lives.  Pamela was very proud of her family.  She loved to dance, music and cold Pepsi.

Survivors include her husband Ben Dreasher of Leroy, Kansas; children, Debby Lyda of Topeka, Cindy Kraus (Jimmy) of West Plains, Mo., Richard Lyda Jr.  (Jackie) of Salina, KS, Billy Ray Lyda (Crystal) of Colony, KS, and Jeff Lyda Sr. (Vista) of Leroy, Kansas; four siblings, Glenn A. Hawks, Jr. of Wichita, Roy Hawks of Scranton, KS, Kenny Hawks of Topeka, KS and Connie Lowrey of Temple, Texas; 22 grandchildren; many great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Brenda Moszeter in 2007 and a granddaughter Marissa.

A celebration of Pamela’s life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at Davidson Funeral Home, 1035 N. Kansas Ave. Topeka, KS 66608.  The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3-4 pm at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to Prairie Wind Hospice.
