Palmer Scott Thompson, 29, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, September 26, 2021.
He was born September 22, 1992, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Ivan W. and Vicki (Falk) Thompson. He was a 2011 graduate of Silver Lake High School playing on the golf team all four years and was league champion his Senior year.
Survivors include two children, Lakyn and Cainen Thompson of Topeka; his parents, Ivan and Vicki Thompson, Silver Lake, KS; his brother, Drew (Ashlie) Thompson of Topeka; his niece, Amaya Thompson; maternal grandmother, Judy Falk of Harveyville, KS; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Leon Falk and his paternal grandparents, Lee and Ellen Thompson.
Palmer was a loving father who enjoyed spending time with his children and his family. He enjoyed playing golf, watching football, basketball, baseball and was an avid K.C. Royals and New England Patriots fan.
Cremation is planned. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m., Friday, October 1, 2021 at the Parker Price Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 245 NW Independence Ave., Topeka. A memorial service will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 4, 2021 at the funeral home. Private inurnment will be at Prairie Home Cemetery, Topeka.
