Due to weather conditions anticipated for this Friday, the memorial service for Norma has been rescheduled.
Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, March 14, 2022 at First Southern Baptist Church.
Norma "Shirley" Hall, 86, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, February 27, 2022.
She was born May 7, 1935, in Kimble, Missouri, the daughter of John and Ethel (Curley) Brinkley. She graduated from high school in Bakersfield, California in 1953. On July 2, 1957, she married Wilbur Keith Hall at Ely, Nevada and they moved to Topeka in 1977.
She worked for Dr. Warren E. Roberts in Topeka for several years. Later, Norma and Will worked at Menninger's Hospital at the Campus House, retiring in 1998.
She was a faithful member of First Southern Baptist Church since 1977, actively involved with Awana's, Vacation Bible School, Trunk-or-Treat, and the Children's Nursery.
Survivors include her children and grandchildren, Steven (Deborah) Hall and their children, Caitlynne, Christopher, and Adam (Lynn); Jana (Charles) Herd and their children, Melanie (Kelsey) and Lauren (Brett); and Dr. Mark (Joy) Hall and their children, Danielle (Joe), Marcus (Jaclyn), Brenna (Dave), Maggie (Allen), Collin, and Liam (Lauren); nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and three sisters.
There were two things most important to her, Jesus and her family.
Memorial services will be 3:00 pm, Monday, March 14, 2022 at First Southern Baptist Church.
