Norma Faye Green

Norma Faye Green, age 92 of Topeka passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at the Healthcare Resort in Topeka where she had resided for sometime.  Faye was born April 6, 1928 in Elmont, Kansas the daughter of Cecil I. and Elsie A. (Thompson) Woodard.  She graduated from Seaman High School with the class of 1946.  She married Russell “Jack” Nixon on March 15, 1946 in Topeka.  He preceded her in death June 11, 1998.  She then married Lawrence E. Green December 14, 2001.  He preceded her in death January 10, 2008.  Faye is survived by a son, Jack (Nadia) Nixon of Topeka; a daughter, Connie Hogan of Sun Lakes, Arizona; two grandsons, Corey (Jessica) Nixon and Kyle (Natalie) Nixon, both of Topeka and seven great grandchildren, Sage, Briggs, Liam, Stella Faye, Andrew, Elijah and Connor.  Faye loved her animals and being in the country. She enjoyed her professional life as a secretary.

A celebration of life will be held at the same time as the Woodard Family Reunion later this summer.
