Nettie Hougen, formerly of McCallsburg, IA passed away May 22, 2011 at Lexington Park, Topeka.
Nettie was born February 17, 1916 in Radcliffe, IA to Joe & Hannah Chelsvig.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Myron Weston Olson and Ernest Hougen and her daughter Wanda (Olson) Tjelmeland of Topeka.
She is survived by her daughter, Wanita Olson Burton, OH; her son, Wayne Alan Olson, CA; her son-in-law, Marion (Joanne) Tjelmeland of Topeka; 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
A private family memorial ceremony was held in Topeka on Saturday, May 28, 2011 at Penwell-Gabel Parker Price Chapel, Topeka. Inurnment will be at Warren Township Cemetery, McCallsburg, IA at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethany Lutheran Church, 50 S. 3rd St, McCallsburg, IA 50154.
