Nettie Patton Brees, 94, of Topeka, passed away Thursday, March 22, 2018.
She was born February 9, 1924, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of William and Marie Patton.
Nettie married Delmer "Bud" Brees on April 20, 1947 in Topeka, Kansas. He preceded her in death on August 2, 1999. Survivors include their children: LeRoy (Jeanette) Brees, JoAnn (Allen) Judd, Debbie (Dennis) Kerley and Ron (Diane) Brees, 12 grandchildren: Chris (April), Jill (Travis), Casey (Cori), Rory (Lindsey), Charity (Josh), Angela (Doug), Anthony, David, Lisa, Danny (Gena), Taryn and Olivia and 25 great-grandchildren: Lincoln, Rylee, Bella, Kaylee, Connor, Carson, Cailyn, Taylor, Lauren, Aubrey, Caleb, Faya, Cortin, Zoey, Jaece, Payton, Bailey, Sam, Jack, Baron, Julianne, Danielle, Zach, Jasmine and Jaden.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Beverly Meyer, sister, Louise Orr and granddaughter, Amber Christine Brees.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Parker-Price Cremations, Funerals & Receptions. Interment will follow at Half Day Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Easter Seals Capper Foundation, 3500 SW 10th Ave, Topeka, KS 66604 in honor of her great-grandson, Baron Trotter.
