Neil Okamitsu
Neil Takeshi Okamitsu, 57, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, September 20, 2008 at his home.
He was born March 7, 1951 in Lanai City, Hawaii, the son of Takao and Ayako (Akamichi) Okamitsu.
He was a member of the Central Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses in Topeka.
Neil married Maria Sosa on October 2, 1988 in Topeka. She survives. Other survivors include his children, Lance Okamitsu of the home, Patti Villegas of Hawaii, Michael Bell of Seattle, WA, Miles Miller of Hawaii; his mother, Ayako Okamitsu of Hawaii, three sisters, Sonya Tyau, Nancy Sakamura, Aileen Lastimosa, all of Hawaii; and a granddaughter, Ashlee Villegas. He was preceded in death by his father.
Memorial services will be 1 p.m., Saturday, September 27, 2008 at the Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence, Topeka.
