OBITUARY: Nancy Lee Hutchens
Nancy Lee Hutchens, 66, Topeka, died Tues., March 30, 2010, at her home. She was born April 25, 1943, in Wichita, the daughter of Clarence and Edith M. (Myrtle) Benjamin, Jr.. She was a beautician. Nancy enjoyed flowers and her yard. She was married to Charles E. Hutchens on April 24, 1977, in Topeka. He survives. Also surviving are her children: David Hewitt and Deana Hardten (Lloyd) of Topeka; step-daughters: Jennifer Keller and Danielle Hutchens of Topeka; adopted father: Wesley Dotson of Wichita; sister: Janet Nickles (Jeff) of Wichita; grandchildren: Cory and Cole of the home, Sky, Sierra, Dalton and Connor of Topeka; and canine companion: Spot. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Fri., April 2, 2010, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave. Interment in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery. Nancy will lie in state after 3:00 PM, Thurs., at the funeral chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to KS Masonic Foundation for KUMC Cancer Research, P.O. Box 1217, Topeka, KS 66601-1217.
