Nancy Ann Kampsen Urton
Nancy Ann Kampsen Urton, 69, Topeka, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2016, at her home. She was born December 20, 1946, in Topeka, the daughter of Francis Robert and Shirley Ann (Magers) Markham.
She attended Topeka Public Schools and Business College. Nancy worked her entire life in various occupations and retired from Sheltered Living.
Nancy was married to Raymond Kampsen and from this union was born three children: Michelle, Timothy, and Kimberly.
Surviving are the three children: Michelle Dowding of Topeka, Timothy Kampsen (Julie) of Silver Lake, and Kimberly Portwood (Earl Ireland) of Topeka; a sister: Sandra Sue Dillon-Biggs (Gregg) of Enterprise; six grandchildren: Genna Dowding of Arizona, Jaimie Dowding of Topeka, Shelby Kampsen (Colton Jenkins) of Silver Lake, Caleb Kampsen of Silver Lake, C'Erra Wilson of Topeka, and Brooklyn Millage (Jason, Sr.) of Topeka; and five great-grandchildren: Parker Ray French, Adara Ann Wilson, Jaslynn Desiree Millage, Jason Millage, Jr., and Sierra Millage. She was preceded in death by her parents and a great-grandson: Brantley Charles Jenkins on December 23, 2015.
Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, June 3, 2016, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Avenue, Topeka.
