Nan M. Carroll, 90, of Topeka, passed away Friday, November 23, 2012.

She was born March 3, 1922 in Alton, KS, the daughter of Ellis W. and Jessie (Duer) Goode. She was a graduate of Alton High School.

Mrs. Carroll was employed and retired from the State of Kansas.

She was a member of the VFW Post No. 1650 Ladies Auxiliary.

Nan married Fred T. Carroll. They were later divorced. Survivors include three daughters, Nancy Carroll, Sherri (Rodney) Woodall of Topeka and Debbie (David) Meiers of Oskaloosa; 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sons, Thomas M. Carroll, Terry Lynn Carroll and Robert Warren Carroll; two sisters, and two brothers.

A funeral ceremony will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at the Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave, Topeka, KS 66608. Interment will follow at the Penwell-Gabel Cemetery, Topeka. Nan will lie in state from 3-8 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Capper's Foundation, 3500 SW 10th Ave., Topeka, KS 66604 or Presbyterian Manor, 4712 SW 6th Ave., Topeka, KS 66606.
