Nadine Hedstrom

Nadine Lillian Hedstrom, 92, Giltner, NE formerly of Topeka, died Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2004 at Hamilton Manor in Aurora, NE. Nadine was born Oct. 4, 1912 in Topeka; the daughter of Garrett LeRoy and Lllian Alvina Espelin Hooper. She attended Topeka High School. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and Seward Avenue Baptist Church. Nadine was served on the Ladies Missionary Society, Sunday School Teacher , Bible School Teacher and Cook at the Summer Camp. Nadine worked at the Hat Box as a sales clerk for 12 years. She married Nels H. Hedstrom Dec. 2, 1937 in Topeka, he died June 13, 1991. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Gladys Duesler. Survivors include a Daughter, Judy and her husband Dick Kremer, Giltner, NE; a son, Jerry and wife Anarene Hedstrom, Topeka; four grandchildren Roy and Lynette Fruits, Harry and Michelle Cabell Don and Kelly Davis, Bryan Hedstrom and Seven great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 23, 2004 at Bethel Baptist Church. Interment will be in Penwell-Gabels Memorial Park Cemetery.
