OBITUARY: Mr. Myrle Lyman Bush
Mr. Myrle Lyman Bush, 74, Topeka, KS, Thurs., April 20, 2006, at Midland Hospice House, Topeka. He was born Jan. 28, 1932, at Geddes, SD, the son of Clifford Lyman and Rosie (Janousek) Bush.
Myrle was a heavy equipment operator with Teamster Local # 541. He had served in the U.S. Army and was a member of Topeka North Post # 400 of the American Legion.
Myrle was married to Shirley Ann Engel on Aug. 21, 1954, at Wagner, SD.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley; one son and daughter-in-law Shawn Lyman and Kim Bush of Topeka; 3 grandsons: Chandler, Chase, and Carson Bush of Topeka; 2 brothers: Everett Bush of Scotland,SD and Stanley Bush of Pensacola, FL; and 5 sisters: Shirley Yeigh of Bonesteel, SD, Rose Westra of Sioux Falls, SD, Louise Anderson of Omaha, NE, Linda Remter of Dannebrog, NE, and Carol Shanahan of Sioux Falls, SD. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Lyle and Roy; and one sister, Edith.
Memorial services will be at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, April 23, 2006 at Jefferson Assembly of God in Meriden. Private interment of cremains will be in Fairfax Cemetery, Fairfax, SD.
