Milton E. Gray, 61, of Topeka, passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2006 at his residence. He was born on May 11, 1945 in Vallejo, CA, the son of Kenneth E. and Evelyn Baker Gray. He graduated from San Pedro High School in California. He had resided in Topeka since 1975. He was employed as a machinist by Industrial Chrome Inc., for the past 30 years. Milton married Virginia Irene Howerton on June 28, 1980 in Holton. She survives. Other survivors include two sons, Milton E. Gray, II and Mathew M. Gray both of Topeka, four step-children, Donna St. Clair, Robert St. Clair both of Topeka, Donald St. Clair of Colorado Springs, CO, and Deenna Zoellner of Irving, TX, fourteen grandchilden, four great-grandchildren, one brother, Kenneth Gray of Ohio, and one sister, Cece Gray of Texas. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 N.W. Independence Ave. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery. Milton will lie in state after 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel where the family will receive friends from 7:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening.
