Mildred M. "Millie" Chase, 80, Topeka, passed away on Thurs., Feb. 28, 2008 at Midland Hospice House.
Mildred was born in Bancroft, KS on Nov. 2, 1927 the daughter of Paul and Clare Goodman.
She married Claude Chase, they later divorced. They had two sons, Bruce and Steve.
Millie worked for Hallmark Cards; USD 501 and later retired from Adams Business Forms.
She is survived by one son, Bruce Chase of Drake, CO; two brothers, Darwin and Loren Goodman and two sisters, Evelyn Gleason and Virginia Blake; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mildred was preceded in death by son, Steve on Oct. 13, 1998 and by three brothers, Galen, Paul and Glenn Goodman.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Monday, March 3, 2008 at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel at 245 NW Independence Ave. Interment will follow in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery. Millie will lie in state from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday, March 2 at the funeral home where family will greet friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to Topeka Presbyterian Manor or Midland Hospice House.
