OBITUARY: Michele Ann Bevier
Michele Ann Bevier, 42, of Prescott, WI, died Sunday, April 22, 2007, in an automobile accident one and one-half miles from her home at Prescott, which leaves her husband, Dana Gene Laird, in critical condition. Michele was born Nov. 6, 1964, at Norton, KS the daughter of Warren L. and Marjorie P. (Hawks) Bevier.
Michele attended Bonner Springs Public Schools from third grade through high school. She received a B.A. from the University of Kansas. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Bonner Springs. Michele was a computer programer.
She was married to Dana Gene Laird in August, 1991, at Lawrence. He survives.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her parents: Warren and Marjorie Bevier of Prairie Grove, AR; her parents-in-law: Carol and Edna Laird of Topeka; 3 sisters: Kathleen Alumbaugh of Mound City, KS, Jana Schafer of Prairie Grove,AR, and Julie Grey of Basehor, KS; a grandfather: Henry D. Hawks of Goodland, KS; and numerous relatives and friends. She also leaves her beloved pets.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Wed., May 2, 2007, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence, Topeka. Interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Michele will lie in state after 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, at the funeral chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Hope for Tomorrow Pediatric Foundation, 91 Neal, Farmington, AR 72730.
