Michael Richard Shughart

Michael “Big Mike” R. Shughart, age 48, of Topeka, passed away Friday, July 22, 2022 in Topeka.  Mike was born July 22, 1974 at Ft. Riley, KS the son of Marlin and Margaret Ann (Arredondo) Shughart.  Mike worked for R&R Lawn Service for several years.  He is survived by four sons, Aaron (Estefana) Shughart of Topeka, Brandon (Grace) Shughart of Topeka, Michael (Morgan) Shughart of Naples, FL and Corey (Brooke) Shughart of Topeka; a brother, Butch Shughart of Topeka; a sister, Michelle (Mark) Moore of Hutchinson, KS; four grandchildren, Easton, Cayden, Carter and Gavin and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Mark Shughart.

Visitation will be Saturday, July 30, 2022 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home.  Interment will be at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Davidson Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.  davidsonfuneral.com.
