OBITUARY: Michael Stanley Cummings

Michael Stanley Cummings, 54, Topeka, died Sun., Nov. 9, 2008, at Stormont-Vail Hospital's ER. He was born July 13, 1954, at San Marcus, TX, the son of Donald E. and Betty J. (Winney) Cummings. He was employed at MTAA for over 20 years. On Jan. 15, 1977, Michael was married to Kathleen M. Wood in Topeka. She survives of the home. Also surviving are a daughter: Jolene M. Flowers (Cory) of Topeka; his mother and step-father: Betty and Harold Baldwin of Topeka; his sister: Patti Taylor (Thom) of Topeka; brother-in-law: Robert Wood (Pam) of Topeka; and many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Thurs., Nov. 13, 2008, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence. Interment in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery. Michael will lie in state after 3:00 PM, Wed., at the funeral chapel where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
