Michael Thomas Westfall, 71, of Delia, passed away Friday, November 11, 2022 at his home.
He was born on May 6, 1951 in Topeka, the son of John Merritt and Donna Elizabeth (Spencer) Westfall. He graduated from Topeka High School in 1969.
Mike was retired but worked for many years at Econo Print and Kaw Valley Produce. Mike enjoyed everything to do with softball. He loved coaching, umpiring, playing, watching, and he even owned Mikey's Elite Sporting Goods for a few years. He played softball until he couldn't play anymore, then he would go watch random games to get his softball fix. Mike was also the Sunflower State Games Softball Commissioner for a few years. On his very last day, there was still a softball bag in the trunk of his car. Mike was a member of the Citizen Band Potawatomi Tribal Nation and was a part of the Masonic Lodge in Mayetta.
Mike marred Marcella Jean Pahls on August 13, 1977 in Topeka, Kansas. She survives the home.
Mike is also survived by his children, Shannon Martino, Danielle (Chris) Gordon, and Matthew (Katey Nichols) Westfall; brother, Samuel Westfall; grandchildren, MaKenzie, MaKaden, Landyn, Christian, and Lilly; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
He is preceded in death by both of his parents; son-in-law, Clifton Decklar; and sisters, Linda Rickson, and Pamela Rohr.
Per Mike's wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
