Michael E. Lovelace, 59, Topeka, passed away Friday, June 30, 2017.
Michael was born September 12, 1957 in Topeka, the son of Earl G. and Irene J. (Halstead) Lovelace.
He served in the United States Marine Corps for 20 years, retiring in 1996 with the rank of Gunnery Sergeant.
Survivors include son, Steven Lovelace; daughter, Veronica Anderson, both of Beaufort, SC. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, July 7, 2017 at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence. Burial with full military honors will follow at 12:30 p.m. at the Leavenworth National Cemetery.
