Michael Jacobs

Michael E. Jacobs, 76, of Topeka, passed away July 14, 2022.   He was born April 18, 1946 in Topeka the son of Edward M. and Mary Ellen McLeery Jacobs.   He attended Grant Elementary and Curtis Junior High School.   Michael served in the United States Navy from 1964 until 1990.   He was a veteran of the Vietnam War.   Michael served in Naval Intelligence.   Locations where Michael was stationed include Australia, Japan and in Washington.   He was also a Beachmaster and Milperson while serving in the navy.    At one time Michael enjoyed kayaking, swimming, hiking and camping.  He also enjoyed horror and science fiction movies, and drawing.   Most recently he had lived at Pioneer Apartments in Topeka where he will be missed by his friends and neighbors.

He is survived by his good friends, Sandra Payne of Topeka and Jessica Fisk and husband Matthew Boeselager of Topeka.

Michael was preceded in death by two sisters, Frances and Virginia.

Michael was cremated, no memorial services are planned.
