OBITUARY: Melanie Kay Dreasher
Melanie Kay Dreasher, 28, Topeka, died Wednesday, May 11, 2005, at KU Medical Center in Kansas City.
She was born on Monday, March 14, 1977, in Topeka, to Melvin and Karen Graf Dreasher. Melanie graduated from Seaman High School in 1995.
Survivors include her parents, Melvin and Karen Dreasher, Topeka, a brother Troy Davis and his wife Shannon, and their children, Nathan & Kala, Topeka, a grandmother, Norma Jean Crites also of Topeka.
Melanie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lawrence and Leitha Graf and Clarence Dreasher.
Her beloved pets Akito and Tiger are in heaven with her.
A funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 16, 2005 at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence. Visitation will be from 6:30-8:00 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Rochester Cemetery.
