Max Edward Heberling

Max E. Heberling, age 85, of Topeka, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at Midland Hospice House in Topeka.  Max was born October 5, 1934 in Topeka, the son of Eli and Lenora Heberling.  He graduated from Carbondale High School.  He served in the U.S Navy.  He married Mary Bodine July 26, 1954.  Max owned and operated Max’s Antenna Service for many years.  He then handcrafted silver jewelry and travelled throughout the midwest attending shows selling his jewelry.  Max was preceded in death by a son, Mike Heberling.  He is survived by his wife of over 65 years, Mary Heberling; a son, Bruce (Lisa) Heberling of Emporia; two daughters, Judy Heberling of Topeka and Susan Warden of Iola, KS; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

A memorial gathering will be Saturday, January 11, 2020 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the family home in Topeka.    Inurnment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Topeka.   davidsonfuneral.com.
