Mavis Darlene Petesch, 99, of Topeka, Kansas passed away on Sunday, July 3rd, 2022.
Mavis was born on June 14th, 1923 in Oskaloosa, Kansas to Bert & Ruth Blockwicz.
She went on to graduate from Oskaloosa High School in 1941. In 1946, she married Victor Petesch.
Mavis was an avid reader, and enjoyed reading anything about the Kennedy's. She also enjoyed growing and caring for her plants.
Preceding Mavis in passing is her husband of 20 years, Victor Petesch; daughter; Sheila Brading, and her parents.
Survivors include a Son in-law; Mike Brading, Grandson, Ryder (Tammy) Brading; Granddaughter, Mindy (Steve) Bonner, and six Great-Grandchildren; Kobe Bonner, Kaeden Bonner, KaeVon Bonner, Rhys Brading, Marley Brading, & Kyrie Bonner.
Visitation will be held from 9:00-10:00 am on Saturday, July 16th, at Parker-Price Funeral Home, 245 NW Independence Ave, Topeka, Kansas. A Funeral Service will follow visitation. Burial will take place at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Topeka.
