OBITUARY: Matthew David Thomas
Matthew David Thomas, 29, Topeka, died Thurs., July 12, 2012, at his home. He was born in Topeka, on May 31, 1983. Matt attended Seaman High School and Newton High School. He was employed by Koch and Co. in Seneca. Surviving are his mother and step-father: Del and Gary Lindsay of Topeka; sisters: Sara Thomas (Lucinda) of Lenexa, and Sheila Hale (James) of K.C.; step-siblings: Travis Lindsay (Robin), Cathy Parcaro (Mark), and Blake Lindsay (Sherri) all of Topeka; maternal grandmother: Ida Meagher (Bob) of Topeka; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather: David Meagher. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM, Mon., July 16, 2012, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave. Interment in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery. Matt will lie in state after 3:00 PM, Sun., at the funeral chapel where the family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Matthew D.
