Mary Elizabeth Schloetzer

Mary E. Schloetzer, age 92, of Topeka passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Midland Hospice House in Topeka. Mary was born July 23, 1926 in Topeka the daughter of LeRoy and Mary Hicks Holland. She married Thomas Schloetzer in 1944 in Topeka. He preceded her in death January 7, 1994. Mary worked as a CMA in various places. She was a past member of the Evangel Temple in Topeka. Mary was preceded in death by two sons, Thomas Jefferson and Jack. Mary is survived by two sons, Byron (Joy) Bricker and Keith (Patty) Bricker; seven daughters, Patricia (Larry) Bouton, Nancy (Lerry) Cox, Judy (Bill) Hale, Vicky Schloetzer, Kathy (Mickey) Fender, Terry (Mike) Finson and Connie (Mark) Kent; 20 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren and 18 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Monday, October 1, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home. She will lie in state Sunday from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. with visitation from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home. Interment will be at the West Lawn Memorial Gardens.
