Mary Mcguire

Mary L. McGuire, age 95, of Topeka, passed away Monday, March 8, 2021 at her home in Topeka.  Mary was born November 27, 1925 in Highland, KS.  She attended Hilltop School in Dickinson County.  She married Gerald McGuire August 15, 1948 in Hiawatha, KS.  He preceded her in death January 15, 2013.  Mary worked as a waitress at Tevis’ Restaurant for over 35 years.  She attended Lakeview Church of the Nazarene.  She loved holidays, especially Halloween.  She was preceded in death by a daughter, Pauline Mills in 2005.  She is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Knight of Topeka; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home.  She will lie in state from noon – 5:00 p.m. Friday afternoon.  Interment will follow at the Mt. Hope Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Croix Hospice and sent in care of the Davidson Funeral Home.  davidsonfuneral.com
