Mary Lininger

Mary Lou Lininger, 87, of Topeka passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at a Topeka hospital.  She was born August 10, 1935 in Linn County, Kansas the daughter of William and Trecie Sanderlin Bailey.  Mary Lou lived in Topeka for most of her life.  She was a nurse by trade, working in home health care and as a nurse in Texas for a while.  Mary Lou founded, organized and ran Teen Town in Topeka.  She loved Topeka and was known by everyone, anywhere she went.   She raised her grandkids.  She will be missed by her family.

Survivors include her son, Gerald (Jerry) Morris and wife Cindy of Ft. Worth, Texas; granddaughter, Crystal “Cricket” Moten of Topeka; grandsons, Ronald Morris and Jessica of Falls City, NE, James Ruben Morris of Ft. Worth, Texas, Albert and Crystal Bosch III, Robert and Maria Bosch, Chris Bosch and Michelle Howard, and Jerry and Amy Bosch all of Topeka; and several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
