Mary Lou Jackson, age 83, of Topeka, passed away Monday, March 7, 2022 at Plaza West Care Home.  Mary Lou was born March 8, 1938 in Topeka the daughter of John and Molly (Packard) Mann.  She graduated from Seaman High School.  She married Daniel E. Jackson March 1, 1958.  He preceded her in death August 29, 2020.  Mary Lou had worked at Russ’s IGA in North Topeka for over 10 years and Berlin-Wheeler for several years.  She was a member of the Countryside Christian Church.  She enjoyed playing cards, puzzles and drinking beer.  She is survived by a son, Mike (Crystal) Jackson of Topeka; two brothers, Jim Mann and Daniel Mann, both of Oklahoma; nine grandchildren, Ashley Smith (Chris Smith), Samantha Hanson (James Hanson, Anthony Lee, Crystal E. Jackson, Christy Myrick (Darin Milligan), Dawn Brandenburg (Bryan Brandenburg), Melissa Gonzalez (Pedro Gonzalez IV), Jeremy Deschner and Michael Deschner and 14 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a daughter, Cindy Jackson in 2010 and a granddaughter, Dawn Brandenburg in 2021.

Funeral services will be Friday, March 11, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the Countryside Christian Church.  She will lie in state Thursday from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home.  Interment will be at the Rochester Cemetery.  davidsonfuneral.com.
