Mary A. Harrison, 92, of Topeka, passed away on November 13, 2021 at Health Care Resort.
She was born on April 10, 1929 to Willis and Grace (Klesath) Mason in Topeka, KS.
She married the love of her life Raynard "Tiny" Harrison on June 25, 1947, after graduating from Highland Park High School. Together they had three children. Ray and Mary spent their retirement wintering in Tucson, Arizona amongst more great friends. She loved watching KU basketball, K-State football, and the Royals baseball. You could often hear her cheering before you even entered her house during the games.
Mary was one of the most loving and admirable women to ever grace her family. She was happiest when surrounded by her loved ones. She enjoyed watching her daughters take part in barrel racing and made many friends within the community. She came to a lot of her grandchildren's events, from softball to ballet, to concerts and graduations. Mary raised a beautiful family through her and Ray's continual love and support.
Mary is survived by her children, Nancy (Vernon) Bolinder, Sharon Harrison, and Christine (Dave) Byler, Grandchildren, Jon (Melissa) Bolinder, Jennifer (Kyle Neis) Bolinder, Rusty (Ashley) Taliaferro, Emily (Travis Cusick) Henderson, Molly Walter, Sarah (Dylan) Kietzman, Scott Walter; Great Grandchildren, Jarett Bolinder, Kendyl Bolinder, Leityn Bolinder, Kyler Henderson, RaeAnna Taliaferro, Owen Taliaferro, Lena Athon, and Juniper Kietzman.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Raynard; both of her parents; siblings, Homer Lindsey and Winifred Nelson.
Visitation will be held Friday, November 19, 2021, 10:00 am at Parker-Price Funeral Home.
Memorial services will follow at 11:00 am at the Parker-Price Funeral Home. Private inurnment will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery at a later date.
