Mary Frances Good, 88, Topeka, passed away Thursday, May 15, 2014.
Mary was born January 5, 1926 in Wheaton, the daughter of Martin and Kate (Maskil) Roach. She graduated from Westmoreland Rural High School in 1944.
She retired from Frito-Lay, Inc. after 25 years of service.
Mary married James Truman Blomley on February 6, 1946. He died December 24, 1950. She married Lester "Jack" Good on February 23, 1952. He died September 16, 1989. Survivors include children, Janice Apling, Woodland, WA, Jeanne (Terry) Higgins, Belton, MO, Kathy (Wayne Moon) Boileau, Topeka, Jack (Debe) Good, Topeka; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; and sister-in-law, Bernice Murray, Blaine, KS. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, 3 sisters, 1 grandson, and 1 great-grandson.
She was an avid KU Basketball and Kansas City Royals fan.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence. Burial will follow at Rochester Cemetery. Mary will lie in state at the funeral home after 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday and visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The family requests casual attire for the service.
