Mary Evelyn Bigelow, 94, Topeka, died Monday, November 28, 2016, at Tanglewood Health and Rehabilitation. She was born May 9, 1922, at Jennings, Louisiana, the daughter of Earl C. and Eva (Miller) Lee.
She attended Clark Business School and was employed at Victory Life Insurance. She was an active member of Brookwood Covenant Church. Mary and Larry had beautiful flowers in their yard and had received several City of Topeka awards for the most beautiful yard in the neighborhood.
Mary was married to Laurence Bigelow on November 27, 1954, in Platte City, Missouri. He preceded her in death on March 21, 2008.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM, Friday, December 2, 2016, at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery, 3616 SW Sixth Avenue, Topeka.
