OBITUARY: Mary Ann (Hess) Wagner
Mary Ann (Hess) Wagner, 63, of Topeka formerly of Valley Falls passed away Tues. afternoon, Feb. 27, 2007, at Midland Hospice House, Topeka. She was born March 1, 1943, at Holton, the daughter of Charles and Geraldine Hope (Greene) Hess.
She graduated from Valley Falls High School in 1961. She worked for the State of Kansas in Topeka for 20 years before retiring.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law: Holly and LeRoy Sparks of Topeka; 3 grandchildren: Hayley, Sondra, and Dustin; a sister: Barbara Anderson of Amarillo, TX; 2 brothers: Don Hess of Topeka and Charlie Hess of Covington, TX; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, and many friends who all love her and will miss her greatly.
Memorial services will be at 1:00 PM, Sat., March 3, 2007, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence, Topeka. Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Hospice, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, KS 66606-2800 or American Cancer Society, 1315 SW Arrowhead Road, Topeka, KS 66604.
