Marvin C. Johnson, 85, of Topeka, passed away, Saturday, August 26, 2006 at Midland Hospice Care.
He was born December 5, 1920 in Salina, Kansas the son of Clarence and Florence Johnson.
Mr. Johnson farmer and a custodian at Shawnee Heights High School. He was employed 20 years with USD 450.
He was a member of First Church of the Nazarene.
Marvin married Lucille Platt September 22, 1940. She survives. Other survivors include one daughter, Gwen Boysen and husband Milo, Tecumseh, KS and one granddaughter, Janell Boysen-Williamson, Phoenix, AZ. His sister Buena Delehoy preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Penwell-Gabel Parker Price Chapel, 245 N.W. Independence Avenue, Topeka, KS. Burial will follow at the Penwell -Gabel Cemetery. Mr. Johnson will lie in state after 12:00 noon Monday at the funeral home.
