OBITUARY: Martin Carl Figge
Martin Carl Figge, 77, Topeka, died Mon., Oct 24, 2005 at his home. He was born Oct. 11, 1928 at Onaga the son of Carl Frederick and Carolyn Elvine (Marten) Figge.
Martin had worked at the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. Plant for 26 years before retiring. He was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church.
Surviving are 2 daughters: Debra Biester and Cheryl Atherly both of Topeka; a sister: Isla Bottom of Havensville; 4 grandchildren: Travis, Sondra, Stacey, and Ashley all of Topeka; and a great-grandson: Ta'Corian of Topeka.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Thurs., Oct. 27, 2005 at Calvary Lutheran Church. Committal services will be at 3:30 p.m. Thurs. at Onaga Cemetery. Martin will lie in state after 3:00 p.m. Wed. at the Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence where the family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wed.
