Marsha Lynn Burress

Marsha L. Burress, age 60, of Topeka, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021 at her home in Topeka.  Marsha was born October 22, 1960 in Amarillo, Texas the daughter of Harry and Louise (DeLoach) Peterson.  Marsha graduated from Highland Park High School in 1978.  She worked at Mike’s IGA in the Oakland neighborhood for many years.  Most recently she worked at Walmart.  Marsha had attended First Assembly of God Church in Topeka.  She is survived by a son, Robert Burress of Moran, KS; a daughter, Misty Burress of Topeka; a sister, Sharon Cooper of New Mexico; eight grandchildren and her dog, Mia.  Marsha loved dogs and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

A memorial gathering will be Monday, January 25, 2021 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Helping Hands Humane Society or the American Cancer Society and sent in care of the Davidson Funeral Home.  davidsonfuneral.com
