Mark Stancliffe, 38, of Lecompton, Kansas, entered eternal rest on March 15, 2025. He was born on August 21, 1986, in Topeka, Kansas, to Kent and Linda (Ward) Stancliffe. Mark attended Seaman High School, where he worked on the farm and harvested hay during the summer months. After high school, he served in the United States Coast Guard and later attended Washburn University.

At Washburn, Mark earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Technology Administration in 2014. His honors and activities included the Washburn Transformational Experience for International Education, School of Applied Studies and Allied Health Department Honors, Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society (2011-Present), President's Honor Roll (2010-2012), and Dean’s Honor Roll (2013 & 2014). Mark studied abroad in Fall 2012 with the Washburn Transformational Experience, focusing on International Business at the University of Latin American Science and Technology in San Jose, Costa Rica.

Mark held various positions throughout his career, including Operations Manager for Bailey Farms in Hoyt, Kansas; Trane Supply Sales Team Leader in Topeka, Kansas; P1 Group Service LLC in Lawrence, Kansas; and working for Stancliffe Cattle and Hay Co. LLC in Topeka, Kansas. He enjoyed boating, day trading, following the Chiefs, Royals, and K-State sports, and was an accomplished saltwater aquarium enthusiast.

Mark was a devoted animal lover, whose compassion extended to all creatures great and small. He surrounded himself with the joyful presence of pets, and he dedicated much of his time to caring for and rescuing animals in need.

Mark is survived by his parents, Kent and Linda Stancliffe of Lecompton; siblings, Bryan Stancliffe (Diane) of Lawrence, Heather Whiteside (Aaron) of Leawood, Brock Lewark (Katie) of Overland Park; extended family member, Jamie Stancliffe of Lawrence; nieces and nephews, Kylie, Abby, Samuel, Lauren, Hudson, and Grace; uncle, Roger Ward of Independence; aunt, Sharlet McClurkin of Kent, Washington; and uncle, Craig Stancliffe of Lawrence, Kansas; cousins, Sharron Reece (Scott) of Kent, Washington, Anson Stancliffe and Eliza Stancliffe; and his great-aunt, Shirley Shirkey of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm on Friday, April 4th at Stull Community Church of Faith, 1596 E 250 Road, Lecompton, Kansas 66050. Parker-Price and Davidson Cremations and Funerals in Topeka who is assisting the family.

Memorials may be made to the Helping Hands Humane Society, Inc.
