OBITUARY: Marjorie Lucille Seabolt
Marjorie Lucille Seabolt, 78, Topeka, died Thurs., June 8, 2006, at her home. She was born March 5, 1928, at Lawrence the daughter of Charles H. and Alice (Sturm) Ireland.
Marjorie was a member of the Apostolic United Pentecostal Church. She had worked at Seymore's, Sutton's, and Pappan's Landing.
She was married to Franklin Seabolt on July 16, 1965 at Topeka. He preceded her in death on June 6, 1990. She was also preceded in death by a son, Daniel Schmitter; a daughter, Alice Moore; a grandson, Billy Hester; 2 great-granddaughters, Violet Schmitter and Jodie Housholder; 3 sisters, Mildred Dominguez, Bessie Flowers, and Ruth Irish; and 2 brothers, Carl Ireland and Bill Ireland.
Surviving are 3 daughters: Fay Hester of Nettleton, MS, and Brenda Ellis and Linda Massey both of Topeka; 2 sons: Albert Schmitter and Fred Schmitter both of Topeka; 2 brothers: Earl Ireland and Raymond Ireland both of Topeka; 18 grandchildren; and 46 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Mon., June 12, 2006, at Apostolic United Pentecostal Church, 2313 S.E. 29th. Interment will be in Rochester Cemetery. Marjorie will lie in state after 1:00 p.m., Sunday, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 N.W. Independence where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
