Marilyn J. Stumbaugh, 73, of Silver Lake, KS, passed away August 14, 2014.
She was born October 17, 1940, in Belleville, Kansas, the daughter of Max and Lenah (Spicer) Milner. She was a graduate of Belleville High School.
Mrs. Stumbaugh owned and operated the Mud Hut in Clarksville, AR. She also enjoyed oil painting, ceramics and china paintings.
She was an active member of Rolling Hills Christian Church, Topeka. She was also active in the American Legion Auxiliary Post No. 160, Silver Lake.
Marilyn married Windell L. Stumbaugh on June 26, 1960 in Wichita, KS. He preceded her in death. Survivors include four siblings, Marcia Milner, Silver Lake, Richard D. Milner, Silver Lake, Robert L. Milner, Topeka and Jeff (Dawn) Milner, Derby, KS; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Marilyn was cremated. A memorial ceremony will be 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at the Rolling Hills Christian Church, 4530 NW Hiawatha Pl, Topeka, KS 66618. Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel is assisting the family. Interment will be 9 a.m., Thursday, August 21, 2014 at the Annie's Chapel Cemetery, Haggerville, AR.
