Marian Florence Crossman, 91, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2011.
She was born December 25, 1919 at McGrath, MN, the daughter of Andrew and Rose (Gill) Noonan.
Mrs. Crossman had lived in Glendale, CA before moving to Topeka in 1960. She and her husband, Clyde F. Crossman, owned and operated the Oakland Hardware Store for 20 years before retiring in 1980.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Marian married Clyde F. Crossman on November 8, 1951 at Ventura, CA. He preceded her in death on August 18, 1996. Survivors include 9 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and two daughters-in-law, Denise Crossman and Renee Crossman, Topeka.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Larry Kirk Crossman and Gregory Allen Crossman; five sisters; and one brother.
A memorial mass will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 312 NE Freeman Ave., Topeka, KS 66616. Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave, Topeka, is assisting the family. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 1315 S.W.
