Margie Mae Collier, 77, of Topeka, KS, died October 25, 2005 at Midland Hospice House in Topeka. She was born October 29, 1927 in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Ira W. and Ruth Bertha Miller.

Margie attended the Auburn Christian Church. She worked as a Baker for most of her adult life. She worked at Suttons Grocery in the Bakery Department and the Land of Ahs Bakery.

She married Jerry O. Long, August 17, 1945 in Newcomerstown, Ohio, they divorced. She married Virgil D. Collier, October 29, 1971 in Topeka. He died November 16, 1998.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter Cynthia A. Long, in 1963.

Survivors include, two sons, Donald E. Long and his wife Anne, Auburn, KS; Dale A. Long, Florida; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 28, 2005 at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel in North Topeka. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Interment will be in Rochester Cemetery.

Mrs. Collier will lie in state from 3:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., Thursday, October 27, 2005 at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel.
