Margaret Louise (Chapman) Williams, 95, of Topeka, passed away Monday, February 5, 2024.
She was born July 30, 1928, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Mark and Margaret (Harries) Chapman.
Margaret loved to travel. She traveled to all 52 states, whether that was by bus, train or cruises. She enjoyed playing cards, dominoes, BINGO and reading. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society.
She was very active at McCrite Plaza. She was involved with their various activities they put together and enjoyed welcoming new guests.
Margaret treasured her family and friends. She supported her grandkids in their sports.
She is survived by her children, Dianne Eickenhorst, Julia Trimmer, Margaret (Jerry) Wilton, David Price, and Riley Price; brother, Larry Chapman and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harvey Williams, six siblings, her son Rodger Price, and Albert E. Price, father of her children.
The family will greet friends at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Parker-Price & Davidson Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 245 NW Independence Ave., Topeka, KS 66608. Graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery in Topeka.
